Terms of Sale

Ordering: All items are sold based on first come, first serve. Orders can be made by mail, e-mail or phone.

Guarantee:  Customer satisfaction is guaranteed 100%.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with the item you have purchased you can return it for a full refund within 7 days of receipt.  All items are sold as genuine and as described.  For stamps that are sold primarily for their cancellations, expect minor faults unless noted fault free. Covers should be expected to have minor faults with significant reductions, tears, and missing pieces noted in the description.

Expertization:  All items are sold as genuine, but should any item be proven otherwise by an acceptable expertising committee, full refund will be made.  In order to receive the full refund, an email or written notification will need to be made to myself within 7 days of the opinion receipt.

  • Expert opinions will be accepted from the Philatelic Foundation (PF) and the Professional Stamp Experts (PSE).

  • The buyer needs to notify myself within 7 days of item receipt that they intend to submit the item for expertising.  The matter will remain open on extension until such opinion is rendered.

  • A declined opinion is not grounds for return of any item.  The seller will pay charges for expertising up to $50 if a "not genuine" is issued.

Payment:  Cash, money order, or personal checks payable to Matthew Kewriga are accepted for payment.  Items will ship when payment clears unless the buyer is known (APS members, when number is provided, will be treated as known).  Massachusetts residents will be charged 6.25% MA sales tax on the purchase price unless a valid resale certificate is provided.

For international customers, or any customer wishing to pay by credit card or PayPal, I offer payment via PayPal email invoice.

Shipping:  Orders for stamps and covers under $1,000 will be charged $5.00 for shipping and handling.  Orders totaling $1,000 or over will be sent free of charge.  

For book orders, there is a charge of $5.00 for the first book plus $1.00 for each additional book for postage and handling.  All catalogs and books will be sent out as media mail rate unless other arrangements are made.

Regardless of the above, International orders will be billed actual postage plus a $2 handling fee.

Refunds:  All items are returnable for any reason within 7 days of receipt.  Buyer must send an email notifying me that the item is being returned.  Upon receipt, I will notify the buyer and refund the buyer's full purchase price for items returned in original condition.  No refund will be given for items returned not in original condition.
